LIT3309 - Studies in the Short Story
LIT 3309 Studies in the Short Story (3 semester hours) Studies of the short story in terms of authorial strategies and reader responses. May examine such topics as how authors' strategies in shaping narratives manipulate perceptions and how modes of fiction influence reader responses. Consideration of styles in the story's historical development and how they shape and reshape expectations. May be repeated for credit as topics vary (6 hours maximum).
