HIST3389 - History of Science in the U.S.
HIST 3389 History of Science in the U.S. (3 semester hours) Surveys the development of the mathematical and natural sciences in American culture. Subject matter will vary from semester to semester, but topics may include astronomy, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, natural history, geology, evolution, and genetics. Course content will not overlap with HIST 3337. No technical background required. May be repeated for credit as topics vary (9 hours maximum). Prerequisite: HIST 1301 or HIST 1302 or HIST 2301 or HIST 2330 or HIST 2331 or equivalent. (3-0) R
