SYSM6326 - Systems Lifecycle Cost Analysis

SYSM 6326 Systems Lifecycle Cost Analysis (3 semester credit hours) Emphasis on using concepts to help make the best possible engineering and business decisions in a system's lifecycle. Special emphasis on the analysis and evaluation of alternatives by collectively weighing costs, risks and opportunities, performance, weight, and other benefit/risk parameters. Topics include: total ownership cost, various estimating methods/techniques (sensitivity and risk analysis), cost analysis processes, system trade studies, and cost effectiveness.
