PPPE6306 - Applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Cyber Policy and Security
PPPE 6306 Applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Cyber Policy and Security (3 semester credit hours) This graduate class focuses on the AI/ML applications for cyber security and policy. Students will learn about the various types of machine learning algorithms and how they can be used to solve complex problems in these fields. Topics covered in the course include, but are not limited to, intrusion detection, generative adversarial networks, privacy, and ethics in the deployment of machine learning algorithms, and the impact of these technologies on public policy. The class is designed to give students with no technical background hands-on experience in applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems through practical assignments and projects. The course will also cover the challenges and limitations of machine learning in these domains and how to overcome them. Overall, the aim of this class is to provide students with a deep understanding of the role of machine learning in cyber security and public policy and its practical applications. (3-0) Y
