MKT7319 - Structural Econometric Approach to Empirical Research Methods and Applications
MKT 7319 Structural Econometric Approach to Empirical Research Methods and Applications (3 semester credit hours) This course aims to equip students with a structural economic modeling approach to applied empirical research problems. In both linear and nonlinear models, the central problem that motivates the structural approach is endogeneity defined in a broad sense. The course will train students on how to systematically understand and address endogeneity through the lens of structural econometric modeling. Emphasis will be given on providing useful tools to carry out an empirical research project in practice. Including programming, presentation, and writing skills. Department consent required. (3-0) R
