MKT6329 - Product Management and New Product Development
MKT 6329 Product Management and New Product Development (3 semester credit hours) This course covers the development and introduction of new products as well as the management of existing products and services throughout their lifecycle. Topics include market estimation and sizing, design thinking, product positioning, screening, concept development, test marketing, pricing, the product life cycle stages, and branding. In addition, an overview of P&L statements, forecasting, and data analysis using different techniques and tools commonly used will be conducted. Prerequisite: MKT 6301. (3-0) Y
