MIS6351 - Identity and Access Management
MIS 6351 Identity and Access Management (3 semester credit hours) Identity is the new perimeter and has taken on increasing importance and emphasis in securing organizational systems, data, and assets. Identity and access management ensures that only the right people can access an organization's resources. The greatest number of breaches have resulted from inadequate access control and elevated privileges. This course will cover topics on Identity Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, User and Application Onboarding, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multifactor Authentication (MFA), user and machine identities, and other identity and access management topics. An industry-leading tool such as Saviynt or Okta will be covered. (3-0) S
