HDCD6345 - Trauma-Informed Care

HDCD 6345 Trauma-Informed Care (3 semester credit hours) Explores various types of traumas, including acute, chronic, systemic, historical, vicarious, and complex developmental trauma, as well as its effects on the development of children, youth, and families. Emphasis will be placed on trauma-informed practices for professionals, with a special focus on building a trauma-informed lens for future work.
