The framework of this foundation course demonstrates how value is central to virtually all real estate decision-making. The course covers various aspects of real estate that are essential in making sound investment decisions as applied in a variety of real-world situations. Key concepts include legal foundations of real estate markets and their impact on real estate asset values, loan structures for various investment types, sources of debt, equity capital, decisions involved with acquisition, dispositions and the underwriting process.
