BIOL6396 - Cellular Dynamics
BIOL 6396 Cellular Dynamics (3 semester credit hours) Introduces key concepts and quantitative methods for understanding dynamic processes in molecular and cell biology. Topics include (but are not limited to) quantitative immunoassays, light microscopy, biosensors, optogenetics, kinetic modeling, intracellular transport, gene expression dynamics, ultrasensitivity/oscillation/bistability in cell signaling and cell cycle, and cell-cell heterogeneity. The course consists of lectures and journal club classes. Department consent required. (3-0) Y
