REAL4321 - Real Estate Law and Contracts

REAL 4321 Real Estate Law and Contracts (3 semester credit hours) Students will learn a comprehensive overview of the law and legal system, with an emphasis on the laws related to real estate and personal property. Students will learn the legal terminology necessary to understand a typical real estate transaction and obtain a practical understanding of the essential legal aspects of real estate transactions and Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) contract forms. The course builds students' critical thinking and communication skills by applying acquired knowledge to real world legal conflicts and familiarizing students with legal sources relevant to real property.
