PSY3333 - Clinical Psychology

PSY 3333 Clinical Psychology (3 semester credit hours) An introduction to the field of clinical psychology. The course includes a discussion of different mental health professions, an overview of training models and graduate study in clinical psychology and a survey of assessment methods and therapeutic approaches used in modern psychotherapy. Professional issues in clinical psychology as well as different career paths in clinical psychology will also be discussed. Prerequisite: PSY 2301. (3-0) Y
