HONS3121 - Combinatorics

HONS 3121 Combinatorics (1 semester credit hour) This course uses interesting and accessible math papers to expose students to objects and ideas that are often overlooked in more traditional classroom courses. Past topics have included surreal numbers, negative probability, tiling problems, alternating sign matrices, NP-hardness of classic Nintendo games, and RSA cryptography.
