ARTS3384 - Photography: Experimental Darkroom

ARTS 3384 Photography: Experimental Darkroom (3 semester credit hours) In this photography-based course, students will experiment with alternative printing and imaging techniques, such as lumen prints, cyanotypes, anthotypes, chlorophyll prints, and phytograms. Students will gain experience working in and out of a darkroom setting with light sensitive papers and emulsions while exploring cameraless image-making. May be repeated for credit (6 semester credit hours maximum). Prerequisite: ARTS 1316 or ARTS 2316 or ARTS 2348 or ARTS 2350 or ARTS 2380 or ARTS 2381 or ATCM 2301 or ATCM 2302 or ATCM 2350 or instructor consent required. (3-0) R
