8	JSOM first-time-in-college freshmen are required to take BCOM 1300 in their first semester. Transfer students and students new to JSOM are required to take BCOM 3300 in their first semester.
9	Free Elective: 18 semester credit hours are required for the B.S. in Global Business. Both lower- and upper-division courses may count as electives but students must complete at least 45 semester credit hours of upper-division courses to qualify for graduation.
10	Concentration: 12 semester credit hours are required for the Business Economics Concentration. Students must complete FIN 3350, MECO 4303, MECO 4351, and MECO 4352. Any remaining Elective hours may be used towards the required internship and community engagement experience.
11	An Internship (Practicum) of at least 160 working hours is required for all JSOM majors. IMS 4090 or BA 4090 for 0 credit hours will fulfill degree requirement only. IMS 4V90 or BA 4V90 for credit hours (1-3) can apply towards Electives. Students who are employed in full-time jobs may fulfill their internship requirement with their current employer as a special project with preapproval to register for BA 4090 or BA 4V90 from their program director.
12	IMS 4090 or BA 4090 is required if not completing IMS 4V90 or BA 4V90 for Elective credit. Students who are employed in full-time jobs may fulfill their internship requirement with their current employer as a special project with preapproval to register for BA 4090 or BA 4V90 from their program director.

Students may fulfill requirement with BPS 4396 or ENTP 4340 or IMS 4335 or MKT 4360 for 3 semester credit hours Elective, or with BA 4095 upon completion of 100 service hours for 0-hour degree requirement only.
14	BA 4095 is required, if not completing BPS 4396 or ENTP 4340 or IMS 4335 or MKT 4360 for a 3 semester credit hours Elective. Students will be registered for BA 4095 for 0 SCH in the semester they complete 100 service hours.
15	This course can fulfill elective credit if not used in major related core, or elsewhere on degree plan.

1	Global Business majors may complete their international experience with any of the following: a semester studying abroad, with at least 9 semester credit hours applicable to their major (NOTE: study abroad courses are subject to a pre-approval process to ensure transferability to their major); a JSOM faculty-led international trip course ("Regional Management Area Studies"); or an international internship (IMS 4090 or IMS 4V90) approved and verified by the BS GLBS Program Director to fulfill the international experience.
2	Curriculum Requirements can be fulfilled by other approved courses from accredited institutions of higher education. The courses listed are recommended as the most efficient way to satisfy both Core Curriculum and Major Requirements at UT Dallas.

7	JSOM first-time-in-college freshmen are required to take BCOM 1300 in their first semester. Transfer students and students new to JSOM are required to take BCOM 3300 in their first semester.
8	Free Electives: 18 semester credit hours are required for the B.S. in Global Business. Both lower- and upper-division courses may count as electives but students must complete at least 51 semester credit hours of upper-division courses to qualify for graduation.
9	Concentration: 12 semester credit hours are required for the Real Estate Investment Management Concentration. Students must complete (REAL or FIN 3305), (REAL 3358 or FIN 3358), (REAL 3365 or FIN 3365), and (REAL 4321 or FIN 4321) and (REAL 4332 or FIN 4332). Any remaining Elective hours may be used towards the required internship and community engagement experience.
10	An Internship (Practicum) of at least 160 working hours is required for all JSOM majors. IMS 4090 or BA 4090 for 0 credit hours will fulfill degree requirement only. IMS 4V90 or BA 4V90 for credit hours (1-3) can apply towards Electives. Students who are employed in full-time jobs may fulfill their internship requirement with their current employer as a special project with preapproval to register for BA 4090 or BA 4V90 from their program director.
11	IMS 4090 or BA 4090 is required if not completing IMS 4V90 or BA 4V90 for Elective credit. Students may fulfill requirement with BPS 4396 or ENTP 4340 or IMS 4335 or MKT 4360 for 3 semester credit hours Elective, or with BA 4095 upon completion of 100 service hours for 0-hour degree requirement only.
13	BA 4095 is required, if not completing BPS 4396 or ENTP 4340 or IMS 4335 or MKT 4360 for a 3 semester credit hours Elective. Students will be registered for BA 4095 for 0 SCH in the semester they complete 100 service hours.
14	This course can fulfill elective credit if not used in major related core, or elsewhere on degree plan.
15	BA 4090 or BA 4V90 will not fulfill the international experience requirement. Double major students are recommended to complete IMS 4090 or IMS 4V90 to satisfy both internship and international experience requirements.
16	Students may substitute IMS 4V94.
17	Students are encouraged to complete 6 semester credit hours in a foreign language.
18	Students are advised to complete REAL Concentration courses as it is noted on 4-year plan. While (REAL 3305 or FIN 3305), (REAL 3365 or FIN 3365), (REAL 4321 or FIN 4321) are offered in fall and spring semesters, ALL prerequisites must be met and ALL above courses must be completed before the final FALL semester.
