BA3105 - Professional Development

BA 3105 Professional Development (1 semester credit hour) Introduces students to business communication and professionalism, focusing on developing the skills necessary to communicate professionally and effectively to achieve career success. Students are supported in developing professionalism skills to aid them in their internships, campus leadership, and community engagement. Particular professional development communication skills include understanding and using appropriate communication tools and channels; effectively integrating research and data into presentations and reports; creating effective professional documents; networking and professional presence. This course is required for all students in their first semester majoring in the Naveen Jindal School of Management who were not required to take BA 1105. Credit cannot be received for both courses, BA 1105 and BA 3105. Resource fee of $60 required. (1-0) S
