CPSY 7340 Advanced Clinical Trials Design and Analysis (3 semester credit hours) In-depth examination of the principles and practices underlying the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical trials in psychological science. Combination of theoretical instruction and practical application. Development of advanced statistical techniques and research methodologies pertinent to clinical trials, including randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental designs, and longitudinal studies. Emphasizes critical evaluation and ethical considerations in the design of rigorous research protocols, analysis of complex data sets, and interpretation of findings with precision.
