HCS6312 - Intermediate Research Methods in Behavioral and Brain Sciences - Part I

HCS 6312 (ACN 6312 and PSYC 6312) Intermediate Research Methods in Behavioral and Brain Sciences - Part I (3 semester credit hours) Instruction in Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)-related statistical techniques in a behavioral science context. Emphasis on null hypothesis significance testing and effect size estimation. Provides an overview of interrelationships among statistical techniques and computer skills required for data analyses. Students without necessary background knowledge of basic statistics and experimental design are required to take PSY 3392 before registering for HCS 6312. Prerequisite: BBS doctoral students only or instructor consent required. (3-0) Y
