PSCI 4316 Civil War and Conflict Resolution (3 semester credit hours) This course examines political violence within states and the conditions under which rebellions and insurgencies emerge. Students will develop a theoretical understanding of why civil wars occur, how they are fought, and how they are ultimately resolved.
