GEOS 3330 Medical Geology (3 semester credit hours) This course provides a broad overview of the relatively new field of medical geology, a field of science that examines the interaction of the natural environment and the health impacts on living organisms. This multi-disciplinary field requires the participation of individuals from several scientific, health, academic, and government agencies. During this course, we will examine some of the positive and negative health effects on human interaction with economic, natural, and urban geology. (3-0) Y
