HMGT 6334 (BUAN 6397 and MIS 6305) Healthcare AI and Decision Analytics (3 semester credit hours) Using AI as an enabler, introduces the use of business intelligence and decision sciences in the healthcare industry to improve care, reduce costs, and provide more accessible care. Introduces the use of business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and decision analytics in the healthcare industry. Acclimates to data mining, machine learning, and decision analysis, as well as hands-on experience with analytics software and programming tools, which may include coding in R software (depending on availability).
