GEOS 5305 Petroleum Geosciences (3 semester credit hours) Survey of geological and geophysical methods used to find and produce oil and gas, and to perform economic and risk analyses that are crucial in reserve estimates and prospect evaluation. Emphasis on the knowledge necessary to become an effective contributor in the oil and gas industry. Students are expected to have the equivalent of a BS or BA degree in Geosciences. (3-0) R
