FIN 6315 (ENTP 6315 and SYSM 6324) Entrepreneurial Finance with AI Innovations (3 semester credit hours) Addresses analysis of financial statements, optimal financing mix, creation of cash flow projections for ventures, and the role of AI in start-ups, and venture capital. Explores valuation, capital structure, forecasting, angel investing, venture capital, private equity, alternative financing methods, securities, and the process for going public. Uses lectures, guest lectures, article reviews and real-word case studies to cover the above topics. Guest lectures in 10-11 sessions from experts in various entrepreneurial domains - entrepreneurs, angel investors, VCs, PE firms, CVCs, alternate investment professionals, securities attorneys, etc. Group-based projects further allow exploration of implications for specific vertical sectors.
