CPSY7180 - Intervention Clinic
CPSY 7180 Intervention Clinic (1 semester credit hour) Combines didactics and hands-on clinical work in the instructor's area of clinical expertise. Includes review of empirical literature, delivery of interventions, and evaluation of intervention effectiveness. Select readings and class discussion are a central part of the course. Written products are also a part of the course, either in the form of a presentation or publication of findings from the clinic. Includes weekly case conference and individual supervision with a caseload of two cases at a time (no more than 3 patient contact hours per week). Pass/Fail only. May be repeated for credit as topics vary (6 semester credit hours maximum). Prerequisites: Open only to students completing the Clinical Psychological Science concentration and department consent required. (0-1) S
