BUAN 6343 Applied AI (3 semester credit hours) Practical development of applications using modern artificial intelligence tools. Topics include machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models, with emphasis on foundation models such as language, vision-language, and multimodal systems. Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, agent-based systems, and multimodal techniques through platforms such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, and CrewAI.
