BPS 6379 Business Strategies for Sustainability (3 semester credit hours) Businesses and investors increasingly encounter environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges linked to resource scarcity, labor relations, and climate change. Firms now introduce impact products as investors seek financial returns alongside social outcomes. Bridging traditional capitalism and creating shared value (CSV), stakeholder management has become central to corporate missions. Introduces stakeholder concepts and models through lectures, case studies, and simulations. Explore tensions in designing shared value strategies and examine innovative corporate responses to social issues.
