ACN 7352 (PSYC 6352) Cognitive Psychology Essentials for Cyber Security (3 semester credit hours) Cybersecurity involves human judgment and action both on attack and defense sides. Course reviews the human-side of cybersecurity and provides a modern, in-depth overview of the scientific study of the cognitive processes associated with cyber-defense and cyber-attacks. In addition, course provides an understanding of the mindset, motive, and capabilities of an attacker and how best to implement defense methods. Department consent required. (3-0) T
