ACN 6380 Fundamentals of Electroencephalography (EEG) & Electrocorticography (ECoG) (3 semester credit hours) Exploration of electroencephalography (EEG) and electrocorticography (ECoG) as neurophysiological tools for diagnosing neurological disorders; generation and interpretation of brain potentials in clinical contexts including epilepsy, encephalopathy, sleep disorders, and perioperative risk assessment; emphasis on the role of EEG and ECoG in high-risk surgical procedures; discussion and case-based analysis of electrophysiological data with applications for patient care.
