| 7 | Free Electives: 9 semester credit hours are required for the B.S. in Healthcare Management. |
| 8 | Guided Electives: 12 semester credit hours from HMGT 4V81, HMGT 4V90, ENTP 3301, ENTP 4320, ITSS 4300, ITSS 4330, ITSS 4340, ITSS 4351, MECO 3360, MECO 3361, MECO 4303, MKT 4331, MKT 4332, OBHR 4300, OBHR 4310, OBHR 4352, OPRE 4310, OPRE 4350, or OPRE 4355. The guided elective courses listed above can satisfy guided elective requirements in prior BS HCMG catalog if not used elsewhere on the student's degree plan. |
| 9 | An Internship (Practicum) of at least 160 working hours is required for all JSOM majors. HMGT 4V90 for up to 3 semester credit hours can apply towards free or guided electives. HMGT 4090 or BA 4090 for 0 credit hours will fulfill degree requirement only. Students who are employed in full-time jobs may fulfill their internship requirement with their current employer as a special project for registration in BA 4090 with preapproval from their program director. |
| 10 | HMGT 4090 or BA 4090 is required if not completing HMGT 4V90 for free or guided elective credit. | 11 | A Community Engagement Experience is required for all JSOM majors in fall 2018 catalog or later. Students may fulfill requirement with BPS 4396 or ENTP 4340 or IMS 4335 or MKT 4360 for 3 semester credit hours free elective, or with BA 4095 upon completion of 100 service hours for 0-hour degree requirement only. |
| 12 | BA 4095 is required, if not completing BPS 4396 or ENTP 4340 or MKT 4360 for 3 semester credit hours free elective. Students will be registered for BA 4095 for 0 SCH in the semester they complete 100 service hours. |
