MSEN 3313 Physical Metallurgy (3 semester credit hours) Application and design of selected metals and alloys in a theoretical and practical context. Relationships between mechanical behavior and alloy chemistry, microstructure, and processing. Corrosion resistance; fatigue failure; creep; brittle fracture. Prerequisites: MSEN 3311 and MSEN 2310.
