Admission Requirements

These Certificates are open to undergraduate students from all academic disciplines and are stand-alone. Students must be in good academic standing at The University of Texas at Dallas to enroll in this program. Interested students who are not currently enrolled at UT Dallas may apply as non-degree-seeking students, subject to university admission policies.

Certificate in Applied Project Management

12 semester credit hours

The Certificate in Applied Project Management equips participants with essential skills in project planning, execution, and control, complemented by advanced spreadsheet modeling and Lean Six Sigma principles. The HCM Technology and AI Certificate offers students the opportunity to build practical skills in the rapidly growing area of HR technology, including how organizations use digital systems, automation, and artificial intelligence to manage people and work. Through coursework in HR management, people-technology leadership, and project management, students have the opportunity to understand how technology supports decision-making, enhances HR operations, and shapes the employee experience. Through coursework that integrates HR management, talent acquisition practices, and marketing concepts, students have the opportunity to understand how organizations identify and attract high-quality talent. Jindal Undergraduate Research Scholar (JURS) Certificate

9 semester credit hours

The JURS academic certificate engages students to do cutting edge business research with the objective of developing them as world class problem solvers for maximum societal impact and provides a foundation for advanced academic pursuits. Student must take the following:

1. Recommended to take 1 credit hour a semester with a selected faculty member to pursue their research interest. Independent studies courses can be used with the approval of the Dean to satisfy this requirement.
