FILM3327 - Documentary Cinema

FILM 3327 Documentary Cinema (3 semester credit hours) Explores various possible forms of documentary cinema. Introduces the diverse trajectories of documentary film-making, which may include ethnographic, propaganda, archival, investigative, or poetic forms, and/or questions of documentary authorship and subjectivity. May be repeated for credit as topics vary (9 semester credit hours maximum). Prerequisite: FILM 1303 or FILM 2332 or instructor consent. (3-0) R
