PPOL4329 - Cybersecurity Law and Ethics

PPOL 4329 Cybersecurity Law and Ethics (3 semester credit hours) Examines the legal and ethical dimensions of cybersecurity. Explores the roles of government and private actors in protecting cyberspace, the laws and regulations that shape their actions, and the ethical challenges they face. Topics include data protection, software liability, and ethical hacking. Addresses issues at the intersection of technology, law, and moral responsibility. (3-0) Y
