MUSI3129 - Applied Music

MUSI 3129 Applied Music (1 semester credit hour) Individual instruction (weekly half-hour lesson) in the principal instrument for students pursuing the BA in Visual and Performing Arts with Music Concentration; the music minor; or the performing arts minor with music focus area. Course is offered for voice, piano, guitar, woodwinds, brass, strings, and percussion. Enrollment is limited to VPA music concentrations; music minors; or performing arts minors with a music focus area. Other students may enroll in this course only with the permission of the Associate Dean for the Arts. An audition may be required for appropriate placement. May be repeated for credit (8 semester credit hours maximum). Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in an ensemble is required.
