CGS 3325 History of Psychology (3 semester credit hours) Understanding the history of psychology is a way to understand how the current theories and processes of research have developed. Introduces students to major historical figures and historically important systems of thought within psychology. Examines the historical contexts of psychology from its origins in philosophy to its present status as a science. Includes an exploration of the theories shaping psychology and key historical and social events that shaped the field. Prerequisite: PSY 2301 or CGS 2301. (Same as PSY 3360) (3-0) Y
