ATCM2320 - Introduction to Media Research

ATCM 2320 Introduction to Media Research (3 semester credit hours) Introduces research methods and writing about media (films, television, games, social media, and so on). Practice critical media analysis supported by close reading, discover how to identify and incorporate appropriate secondary sources, and explore building arguments through evidence-driven writing. Examine media; emphasis will be on developing media literacy. Completion of a research project on a media topic is required. Prerequisite or Corequisite: RHET 1302. (3-0) F
