ATCM 4325 Race, Technology, and Media (3 semester credit hours) In this course, students learn about media and technology's inscription within the histories of Western racism and colonialism; how structural racism affects technology development, the media industries, and media representations; and how race is articulated in media and technology, including in film, television, social media, and videogames.
