BMEN 3301 Introduction to Biomechanics (3 semester credit hours) Mechanical properties of biological materials. The molecular basis for macroscopically measured quantities. Molecular mechanics (e.g. protein folding). Cellular mechanics of passive and active processes (e.g. cytoskeletal mechanics, cell migration).
