HMGT 6310 Healthcare Informatics Leadership for Physicians (3 semester credit hours) This course will prepare physician leaders to lead the ever-changing element of informatics, data, information, and technology in the United States healthcare system. The course will go further to evaluate the policies, healthcare potential, and disruptions that emerging technologies will introduce to healthcare. Additionally, the topics of healthcare data, artificial intelligence, wearables, and patient expectations will be discussed as they influence physician practice and leadership expectations.
