HCS6398 - Foundations of Neuropsychological Assessment
HCS 6398 Foundations of Neuropsychological Assessment (3 semester credit hours) This course provides graduate level students with an introduction to neuropsychological assessment. Basic principles of neuroanatomy will be covered in relationship to cognitive domains and differential diagnoses of specific neurological disorders. Students will be exposed to neuropsychological tests that are used to diagnose adult patients who present with a variety of neurological disorders. Administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests will be covered during the lab portion of the class. Prerequisites: BBSC majors only and department consent required. (3-0) R
