GEOS 5305 Petroleum Geosciences (3 semester credit hours) Survey of geological and geophysical methods used to find and produce oil and gas, and to perform economic and risk analyses that are crucial in reserve estimates and prospect evaluation. The course is designed to provide the student with the necessary knowledge to become an effective contributor in the oil and gas industry.
