ACN 6374 (HCS 6374) Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) Part II (3 semester credit hours) Part II covers the use of recordings of neuro-electric brain potentials and their interpretation during surgical operations and clinically for diagnostic purposes. The use of electrophysiological methods for guiding implantation of stimulating electrodes deep in the brain and for assisting the surgeon in certain operations are also described.
