HCS7371 - Neuroplasticity and Its Dark Sides
HCS 7371 Neuroplasticity and Its Dark Sides (3 semester credit hours) A systems-oriented course that covers the bases for expression of neuroplasticity and its involvement in the pathophysiology of certain neurological disorders. The anatomical and functional bases for some disorders of the peripheral and central nervous systems are covered as is the little known non-classical sensory pathway and its involvement in autism, chronic neuropathic pain, and some forms of tinnitus. Prerequisites: BBSC majors only and department consent required. (3-0) R
