NOTES:
1 Incoming freshmen must enroll and complete requirements of UNIV 1010 and the corresponding school-related freshman seminar course. Students, including transfer students, who complete their core curriculum at UT Dallas must take UNIV 2020.
2 Curriculum Requirements can be fulfilled by other approved courses from accredited institutions of higher education. The courses listed are recommended as the most efficient way to satisfy both Core Curriculum and Major Requirements at UT Dallas.
3 Indicates a prerequisite class to be completed before enrolling for upper-division classes.
4 A required Major course that also fulfills a Core Curriculum requirement. Semester credit hours are counted in Core Curriculum.
5 Students may elect to substitute MATH 2413 and MATH 2414 or MATH 2417 and MATH 2419.
6 Students may substitute MATH 2418 or CS 2305.
7 JSOM freshmen are required to take BA 1100 and HMGT 3100. Transfer students and students new to JSOM are required to take HMGT 3200.
8 Free Electives: 7 semester credit hours are required for the B.S. in Healthcare Management
9 Healthcare Management Upper Level Guided Electives: 9 semester credit hours from HMGT 4V90 or HMGT 4392 or ENTP 3301 or ENTP 4320 or HLTH 3101 or HLTH 3301 or ITSS 4300 or ITSS 4351 or MKT 4331 or PSCI 4365 or OBHR 3311 or OBHR 4300 or OBHR 4310 or OBHR 4352 or OBHR 4360 or OPRE 3330 or SPAN 2341
10 Internship (Practicum) required for all JSOM majors. HMGT 4090 Healthcare Management Internship for 0 credit hours will fulfill degree requirement only. HMGT 4V90 Healthcare Management Internship for credit hours (1-3) can apply towards free or guided electives
11 HMGT 4090 Healthcare Management Internship is required if not completing HMGT 4V90 Healthcare Management Internship for Guided Elective credit
