PSCI 6318 Judicial Selection (3 semester credit hours) This is a course that focuses on the ways in which political systems place judges on courts. We will focus primarily on American courts, with our time split evenly between the appointive systems used by the federal government and some states and the elective systems used by most other states. We will also discuss the methods used in other countries for the selection of judges. (3-0) R
