GISC6317 - GIS Programming Fundamentals

GISC 6317 GIS Programming Fundamentals (3 semester credit hours) General introduction to programming language and other techniques for modeling with GIS-related applications. Topics covered include fundamental data structures and algorithms, geospatial data manipulation and processing, and database management. Emphasis is placed on rapid GIS application development with hands-on experience. Students are expected to design and implement a project. (3-0) Y
