NOTES:
1 Incoming freshmen must enroll and complete requirements of UNIV 1010 and the corresponding school-related freshman seminar course. Students, including transfer students, who complete their core curriculum at UT Dallas must take UNIV 2020.
2 Curriculum Requirements can be fulfilled by other approved courses from accredited institutions of higher education. The courses listed are recommended as the most efficient way to satisfy both Core Curriculum and Major Requirements at UT Dallas.
3 Students must complete ALEKS exam prior to enrolling in a 020 core course.
4 If the student took THEA 1310 as their 050 core, then the student may choose any free elective in its place as a lower-level major requirement.
5 Lower-Level THEA Studio = any 1000 and 2000-level THEA studio course.
6 Free Elective = any lower or upper-level course.
7 Major Core = ARHM 3342 and AP 3340 and and AP 3300.
8 Lower-Level THEA/DANC/MUSI Studio = any 1000 and 2000-level THEA, DANC, or MUSI studio course.
9 THEA Core = THEA 3323 and (THEA 3310 or THEA 3324 or THEA 3325 or THEA 3351, or THEA 3372) and (THEA 3342 or THEA 3356 or THEA 3372 or THEA 4301 or THEA 4342).
10 THEA Elective = any 3000 or 4000-level THEA course.
11 Related Course = any 3000 or 4000-level ARHM, HUMA, ISAH, HIST, PHIL, LIT, RHET, or Languages.
12 THEA/DANC/MUSI Elective = any 3000 or 4000-level THEA, DANC, or MUSI course.
13 Visual & Performing Arts Elective = any 3000 or 4000-level AHST, ARTS, COMM, CRWT, DANC, THEA, FILM, or MUSI course.
14 Upper-Level Elective = any 3000 or 4000-level course.
