PSCI4360 - The Political Economy of Multinational Corporations
PSCI 4360 The Political Economy of Multinational Corporations (3 semester credit hours) In addition to the historical rise of international firms, the course covers the economic theory of the firm, multinational corporations (MNCs) as political actors, the dynamics of foreign direct investment, and the relationship of MNCs to developing countries. The aim of the course is to understand the causes and effects of the behavior of transnational corporations, particularly in regard to economic policy.
