HMGT4392 - International Healthcare Management and Leadership
HMGT 4392 International Healthcare Management and Leadership (3 semester credit hours) This course is designed to further develop healthcare management and leadership knowledge through appropriate developmental work experiences in real healthcare environments. In preparation for an experiential student learning experience in a host country, students are required to identify and submit specific learning objectives (goals) at the beginning of the semester regarding the host country's healthcare system. Course instruction will focus on the differences between the U.S. and the host country's healthcare delivery, processes, and systems. At the end of the semester students must prepare and present an oral and written presentation on key healthcare management processes and systems that compare and contrast with U.S. healthcare delivery systems.
