GEOS3127 - Forensic Geology

GEOS 3127 Forensic Geology (1 semester hour) Police and forensic scientists have long used mineralogical and geochemical analytical information and techniques, geologic databases, maps, and insights to solve a wide range of crimes and mysteries. This course will provide the students with fundamental knowledge of how geosciences can be used to augment the tools available to criminal investigators.
